Hey there!

My name is April and I'm the maker behind Under the Willow Tree. I started Under the Willow Tree in 2017 and I've been making ever since. I've been crocheting since 2014 and knitting since 2017.

I learned the very basics of crocheting when I was very young but never kept up with it. I decided to try it again after I got pregnant in 2014. I was hoping to make a baby blanket but I never ended up finishing it! How funny that this would become a recurrent theme for most of my blanket projects. Then in 2017 I decided to try and knit, fell in love, and Under the Willow Tree was born.

I've been wanting to add a blog to our website for a while now. I have a lot of patterns I'd love to share with you and wanted my own space to talk about all things yarn and creating. I will have a lot of new things coming very soon!
